About BFF Indy

In 2021, FrancesMary Loughead embarked on a new chapter in her life as she got married and relocated to Indianapolis with her husband. Finding herself in a city where she had no family or acquaintances and working remotely, FrancesMary encountered challenges in making connections and forming friendships.

Undeterred, she explored various avenues, attempting to connect with others through apps. Observing a shared interest among local girls her age in watching The Bachelorette, she hatched a creative solution.

FrancesMary initiated weekly watch parties, bringing together a group of like-minded ladies to enjoy the show. This initial gathering evolved into a series of continued group outings, including brunches, winery visits, and dinners.

Over the course of about a year and a half, FrancesMary discovered a common sentiment among many individuals facing similar difficulties in making plans and genuine connections, particularly in the online realm. Motivated by this realization, she decided to establish BFF Indy, a group aimed at providing events and opportunities for those seeking authentic friendships.

FrancesMary's initiative not only addresses a personal need but also promises to be an invaluable asset to the community, offering a platform for women to forge meaningful connections and cultivate genuine friendships. In just five months, BFF Indy has grown exponentially, amassing over 17,000 members who actively participate in the vibrant community she has built.
