The Heart of Impact 100 Greater Indianapolis
Impact 100 Greater Indianapolis is a charitable women's giving circle with a
powerful mission: to fund critical needs, new ventures, and innovative
solutions to social problems in our community. They focus on five key areas:
Arts, Culture & Preservation; Education; Environment & Animal Welfare;
Family; and Health & Wellness. By pooling resources, they amplify their
impact, ensuring that every dollar makes a significant difference.
How It Works
Impact 100 Indy operates with a minimum of 100 members, each
contributing $1,000 annually. These funds are entirely dedicated to grants,
ensuring that 100% of member donations go directly to supporting
nonprofits. Members can also participate in Shared Memberships, allowing
groups of two to four women to pool their contributions.
Each June, the organization hosts its Annual Awards Celebration, where five
finalists—one from each focus area—present their proposals. Members then
vote to determine which nonprofits receive that year's grants. This democratic
process ensures that the funds are allocated to initiatives with the most
potential for positive impact!
